Mrs. Kim Hall's 3rd grade class recently targeted skills of finding the main idea and listing details with the reading selection of "Penguin Chick." The students worked in groups to add the main idea and details of the selection to life size Emperor penguin models. Students listed the main idea at the top of the model and listed supporting details on the body of the penguin chick.
