Below is a picture of LHS students participating in the “N.E.D. Corner." NED is a character development activity that allows students to practice yoyo skills. Recently, a NED representative came to the school and provided a yoyo exhibition. During this exhibition he shared a story related to NED, which stands for: Never give up, Encourage others, and Do your best. Yoyo orders were taken the following week. Over 100 student purchased a NED yoyo. Teachers will utilize the “NED Corner” as the weather improves outside, and as students exhibit behavior and character that reflects the NED concept. We look forward to seeing students "walk the dog."
