On Wednesday of this week, Luverne and Banks Schools rallied for the the ASPIRE assessment. These students have been pen pals all year. The event gave students the opportunity to review skills for the upcoming standardized testing (in the areas of math, science, and reading) and meet their pen pals.
This event was held in the gymnasium at Luverne. The students were divided by grades and in groups that allowed them to work with students from both schools. The students spent 8-10 minutes at each table completing the activities. There were snacks, music, and prizes. All had a great time preparing for the ASPIRE.
Kudos once more to the teachers who organized the event.
