Mrs. Baines and I asked the Jr High students to bring in round
foods....Oreos, moon pies, oatmeal pies, etc.
The students learned earlier in the week that pi was the ratio of the
circumference to the diameter. They had to measure the circumference
and diameter of these items and see how close the answer was to pi.
There was lots of learning going on and lots of fun to be had.
