Best Wishes to Mallie Alford

As Crenshaw County’s Distinguished Young Woman (DYW) representative, Mallie Alford will participate in the state program in Montgomery on January 21-22, 2012. The state winner will advance to the national program, held in the program's birthplace of Mobile, Alabama.

Mallie was honored with a send-off reception sponsored by Jean Sims and the Crenshaw County DYW Board at Luverne High School on January 12, 2012. Over 100 guests turned out to share well wishes with Mallie.  

Mallie plans to attend Auburn University in the fall and pursue a degree in Agricultural Communications.
