We visited HHS this past Wednesday and observed many exciting classes. Notably, Mrs. Sandra Kilpatrick, 4th grade math teacher, did a superb job with a word problem that required an open-ended answer. Students used a variety of techniques in demonstrating a solution. The articulation of students was amazing. We hope that all teachers, grades 3-8, will develop a “Magic Word” wall and supply students with ample open-ended questions.
