Ms. Kelley's first grade class incorporated the book Fish Eyes into their math lesson this past Monday. The objective was to accurately measure various lengths of fish, thus determining the keepers. She incorporated science and geography into the lesson by mentioning the types of fish and their typical location (i.e. alewife, mackerel, and perch, not catfish, bream and bass.
