In legislative news, there are two scenarios currently being discussed in multiple circles: diverting money from the Education Trust Fund to the General Fund and raising divisors far enough to eliminate another +/-3000 teaching jobs (and associated OCE funds). Educators must stand together to protect the already fragile financial system from further erosion. Also, please advocate the funding of materials and supplies, textbooks, technology and professional development.
