On October 14, 2013 Luverne School hosted ELA night in the school's auditorium. Students from K-3rd
grade were dressed as characters from their favorite stories. Ms. Donna Ash served as emcee for the
character parade where Spiderman, a ladybug, a doctor, Dorothy, a fairy, a fire
engine, a cowboy, flat Stanley and other favorites made an appearance. Winners of the character parade were:

Following the brief explanation of Common Core Standards,
parents and students were invited to the reading classrooms for presentations. A big thanks to those who made this night a success.
