Congratulations to Megan Hudson, of the Luverne Band. She competed against 49 other clarinet players for one of four spots in the Alabama All-State Band, which will be held in Huntsville, AL in April. Megan earned one of those spots with her outstanding audition. Auditions were held at Troy Elementary School, where students from over 30 different schools were represented. Students who auditioned were required to play two prepared pieces of music, pass a selected number of scales, and participate in sight reading.
Megan is an eighth grade student at Luverne School, and is a member of the Marching Tiger Band, Jr. High Concert Band, and the High School Concert Band.
