Roundballers Take On the Ambassadors

Five-star family entertainment was enjoyed by all in Samuel M. Carr Gymnasium this past Saturday night.   The Crenshaw County Roundballers, who were mostly CCBOE employees, gave the Harlem Ambassadors all they wanted.  Trust me, it was closer than the 30 point deficit; okay, maybe not.  Words almost elude me as how to describe our colleagues, but here are  a few:  spontaneous (dance moves improv style, or was that Gangnam style...no, no, it was "Hawth" style... yes, it is surely the new dance craze), humorous (one of newest employee pantsed, or is that shortsed, their 6' 9" big man),  and athletic (seem to recall a few NBA threes...we were not afraid to "fire it up").

Thanks to our guys and gals who so willingly gave back to the community.  All proceeds from the event will be used to award 5 scholarships to Crenshaw County students this spring.  The event was sponsored by the Luverne Kiwanis Club.  Thanks Mr. Pittman and LHS for hosting the event.
