Congratulations to Shakia Brantley and DeAnthony Rutledge of Luverne School. Both signed scholarships this week.
Shakia Brantley played forward for the LHS Tigers this past year and she averaged 14.5 points and 7 rebounds per game. She was a 5-year letterman. She signed an intent to play at Wallace State Community College in Selma.
DeAnthony Rutledge played forward for the LHS Tigers this past season and he averaged 16 points and 8 rebounds per game. The 6' 5" senior scored 1,063 total points and 757 total rebounds during his 5 years of play. DeAnthony signed an intent to play at Southern Union State Community College.
