Those Who Care

For those who have not read The Luverne Journal this week, please take time to read the article under the above link regarding our Career Coach, Mrs. Polly DuBose, and her experience with cancer.  It is a tremendous article describing a battle that many have fought.

This blog is not only about the individual who fights the battle but is also about those who stand side-by-side with others in time of need and about those who recognize and honor others, though themselves are often weighted with burdens of their own.  We have seen tremendous examples of this in the past and I contend that it is the characteristics of kindness, compassion and  love that makes our community a truly unique place to live.  Taking this notion a step further, it is remarkable to see our students emulate those traits.  One of many examples of this is the Awareness Ribbon made of students that was posted to the WSFA's Facebook page that has been like over 27,880 times, shared more than 2,600 times, and received over 185 comments world-wide.  What an impact!!!!

Speaking of impacts,  below is a picture of those who are often behind the scenes making it all happen.  Fun-loving, caring, supportive and considerate they are.  Never has there been such a special group.  Kudos to those in the Central Office.  You are  FANTISIMO!(Yeah, I made that up because you are so unique).
