Livestock Judging Team Goes High Tech

The BHS FFA Livestock Judging Team advanced from district competition earning a spot in state competition the first week in June.  A key component of ongoing team preparation involves the use of electronic resources via their iPads.  The team currently practices twice a week, but with such an overwhelming amount of information to learn, will have to engage in ongoing electronic self-study to ensure the greatest level of preparation.  Only one team member does not have an iPad at this time, as she is in 8th grade and using an alternate device.

The students will keep their iPads until state competition is over rather than returning them when other iPads are collected at the end of the school year.  Their level of preparation is dependent upon device availability.

Kudos to the team!  Kudos to the technology initiative!
