On Tuesday, May 14, 2014, the LHS String Band performed for the Luverne Kiwanis Club. The string band place 3rd in District Competition a few weeks ago. This was the school's first appearance at the competition in 20 years. Students who participated Tuesday are as follows: Chris Weaver, Adam Jeffcoat, Randall Sipper, Greg McDougald, John Stubbs, Cooper Blackmon, Kingston Coleman, Daniel Jones, Adrianna Bagents, and Francis Ackerman. The band's sponsor is Mr. Matthew Pippin. Great job all!
