Board Approves HVAC Bids

In action last night (2/13/2012), the Crenshaw County Board of Education approved bids to purchase and install HVAC systems in 30 classrooms and 2 gymnasiums.  Once said projects are complete, CCBOE will be rid of all of its antiquated classroom hanging heaters and all of its gyms will be both heated and cooled.  These projects will conclude the Board's use of its $1.3 million QZAB bond.  Because the Board is required to only pay back $.75 of every dollar and due to projects coming in under the estimated cost, CCBOE will have to actually pay back $881,000 of the $1.3 million.
