Concerned that some students might not receive a valentine this past Tuesday, a particular parent, group of parents and local church, whom I am sure would all like to remain anonymous, organized a program so that all the elementary children at Luverne would get a Valentine's balloon with a Bible verse via PTA fundraiser. I watched countless children check-out of the afterschool program with tremendous smiles and balloon in tow. It is wonderful to have such caring and concerned individuals and organizations in our community. Kudos to all, and a special thanks to Ms. Anonymous.
